General Responsibilities: The purpose of this position is to assist in the operation of the conference’s communications, both internally and externally. The assistant director of communications will publicize the WAC through all platforms including social media and the conference website. Specific duties include writing and producing press releases, compiling statistics, reporting results to media, maintaining record books, and serving as communications contact for several assigned sports. This position will also assist staff members in the administration of selected conference activities and on-site championship management.
