Job Summary Grinnell College, Department of Physical Education, Athletics, and Recreation, has a part-time term assistant women’s soccer coach position open.
Responsibilities: include assisting the head coach with on field teaching, practice preparation, game strategy, game day management, video breakdown, scouting calls, recruiting contacts and travel, and any other duties as assigned.
Candidate’s responsibilities will average 25 hours per week over nine months, but time commitment will vary between competition season and off-season recruiting. Must be able to work nights and weekends. ($15,000 for 9 or 10 months of part-time work).
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and previous playing or coaching experience. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently, and as a member of a team. Knowledge of NCAA rules and ability to recruit qualified student-athletes is required.
