RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Development and implementation of the ACC’s programming for student-athlete and other institutional staff development initiatives.

Primary liaison for the ACC Health Care Advisory Group.

Primary liaison for the ACC student-athlete leadership groups, including ACC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Coordination of special events related to the ACC Health Care Advisory Group and student-athlete leadership groups.

Primary liaison for the institutional student-athlete development administrators and Directors of Academic Support.

Collaborate with internal and external constituencies to communicate the successes of ACC student-athletes.

Facilitate partnerships with other organizations and leagues to enhance ACC initiatives surrounding student-athlete development, including career development, and student-athlete health and safety.

Oversight of the ACC postgraduate scholarship program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of six (6) years professional work experience in the development of student-athletes or a related field. Previous experience in college athletics strongly preferred.

Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to demonstrate a calm, courteous and professional demeanor under pressure when working with a variety of situations and/or people (e.g., campus personnel, conference personnel, professional sports personnel, student-athletes).

Proven ability to take initiative and make sound decisions with little to no direction.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.
