Baker University is seeking qualified applicants for a Sports Information Director. This is a full-time, exempt position, which will be responsible for developing, gathering and disseminating sports information to the local and national media. The position will serve as liaison between the Director of Athletics, the coaches, and other campus organizations for all athletic information. Responsibilities include working with all athletic programs and coaches to develop and maintain athletic websites including the posting of current stats, schedules, rosters, photos, and records; design and distribute athletic publications in concert with the Office of Marketing and Publications; collection of game day stats and submission of those stats to local and national sources; and compliance with university, conference, and NAIA policies and procedures. The SID will supervise student interns and campus work positions that support the Sports Information Office. The position will perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related fields;
