Recommend best practices for gift acceptance, privacy, and due diligence
Research top industries in key countries/regions
Research wealth indicators in various countries
Research projects for international development as needed
Survey campus to understand the entrepreneurship and innovation programs
Catalog engagement activities to increase ISUF awareness and drive program/development officer strategy
Meet with communicators to explore opportunities
Increase campus understanding and awareness of the Founder’s Pledge
Assist research strategies in processing data
Brainstorm communication methods for various audiences
Make operational recommendations
Research projects for Founder’s Pledge, as needed
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicating ideas and findings to a professional audience.
Ability to find and analyze information and data by conducting meaningful interviews, understanding areas of foundation/university operations, and sourcing industry information.
Technical proficiency to work in Salesforce-based CRM system and ability to work with data sets in Excel.
Ability to review technical resource capabilities and make process recommendations, incorporating best industry best practices.
Strong project management skills to bring together various sources of information to create solution-oriented recommendations
Creativity, patience, a sense of humor and a belief in our organizational mission of: Aligning donor passion and generosity to advance Iowa State University’s land grant ideals.
The internship is anticipated to start in late August or September 2022 and continue for up to 12 months. The internship will be 30 hours per week (flexible schedule) at $15.00 per hour; no benefits are offered.
