Provides a high level customer service to ticket purchasers and IPTAY donors. Assists with all business and accounting transactions related to the Athletic Ticket Office, ticket sales and receipts. Assists in the general operation of Ticket Office functions. Other duties as assigned.
30% - Essential - Ticket Operations Direction: Manages all facets of ticket operations assigned sports. Responds to and/or routes all incoming correspondence. Coordinate's pricing decisions with sport supervisors, marketing department, sales & service manager, and business office. Works directly with the business office on the budget for ticket sales. Works directly with marketing and sales manager on sales campaign/timeline for season tickets, single game tickets, and group tickets. Responsible for allocation of season tickets and post season events. Supervise the day of game box office. Ensures communication relative to all ticket information is clearly communicated and promoted to customers.
30% - Non-Essential - Customer Service: Receives incoming calls and visitors daily, including game days. Refers or assists customers appropriately. Addresses customer questions relative to charge computer orders, seating and parking locations, ticket purchases, etc. Solves programmatic and procedural problems. Maintains substantial knowledge of Athletic and IPTAY rules and regulations. Dispenses tickets to the counter customers collecting payments by method of cash, check, or credit card. Position will be first line of defense after the students to help donors. Will oversee the students on the phone and help them answer any questions that donors have. Additionally, this position will oversee the email@example.com inbox.
20% - Essential - Student-Employee Oversight: Lead a 14 -18-person student staff. The position oversees the hiring and training of staff, the training requirements include customer service training, as well as system training on Archtics. Trains student-employees and provides them with all appropriate information to ensure great customer service.
20% - Essential - System, Technical and Online Ticket Sales: Manages ticket operations and use of ticket software system. Manages setup and sales online through AccountManager for assigned ticketed sports both for regular season and post season events. Trains staff on ticket system applications. Troubleshoots issues with online ticket transfers, resale, and fraudulent tickets.
