Major Broadway theatre owner-operator is seeking a remote Director of Sales to join our Lucky Seat Partner. Direct experience with theatrical performance is not required.
Lucky Seat is where entertainment enthusiasts go to win discounted tickets to the best shows in town, in towns across the country. Our client list ranges from the best of Broadway to the leading promoters and venues from coast to coast. Our clients count on us to make the ticket buying process fun and to help fill soon to expire inventory. The fans get a last-minute great seat at an unbeatable price, and our clients fill seats that would have otherwise gone unsold.
We are seeking an organized, resourceful and proactive individual to serve as Director of Sales for Lucky Seat. The ideal candidate is a driven, self-starter who has the ability to serve as a respected and trusted face of Lucky Seat within the sports and entertainment industry. Lucky Seat is seeking to hire a Director of Sales with the initiative to grow the number of events using Lucky Seat in for concerts, sports, family events and Broadway.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Identify and establish company’s value proposition for prospective clients.
Develop 3-5 year sales growth plan for the company
Create sales materials and prospect lead generation
Initiate and manage client relationships with venues, producers, promoters in the live entertainment and sports industries.
Meet and exceed agreed upon goals for quarterly client activations.
Evaluate and modify pricing strategy to maximize revenue.
Attend trade shows and act as primary representative of Lucky Seat to prospective clients.
Research and identify new sales opportunities for Lucky Seat
Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Business Development and/or 10+ years of work experience.
5+ years of business development experience with a demonstrated ability to build and implement a successful business development growth strategy.
Strong relationships within music, family entertainment and sports industries.
Excellent networking skills and ability to work independently.
You must be well organized, detail oriented, and have a passion for efficiency.
You must be outgoing, have a positive attitude and inspire others to do their best work.
You must be a creative problem solver, always looking for better and more efficient ways to get the job done.
