Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club (CRYSC) is an industry-leading community soccer club, serving five regions in the state of Colorado spanning from Fort Collins to Castle Rock, which provides opportunities for all levels of players from beginner to advanced, from three to professional. CRYSC is one of the few true full-service soccer clubs in the nation providing soccer for all types of players from all different types of backgrounds.
This position is responsible for the management, development, and delivery of the Elite Girls program. The role is pivotal to the further development of youth club talent as we work to provide a complete pathway for our female players and members from grassroots to college
This role is full-time and includes weekend and evening work, as well as travel domestically, with the candidate required to be flexible and adaptable to differing seasonal work patterns.
Architecture – Utilization of the CRYSC curriculum and technical methodology to guide in the development of the female players in the elite pathway. Develop a strategic approach to enhancing elite Girls provision at the club using the excellent resources the club offers for maximum impact.
Implementation – Support and implement the Player Development Plan, specific to the Girls Elite Program.
Lead & Manage - Lead the girls teams coaching staff and support services in the coordinated delivery of their elements in the program resulting in a cohesive and highly efficient team, and a positive working environment for all key stakeholders
Constant Revision and Review - Be continual in your evaluation of players, coach, ancillary staff, and self-performance with a view of supporting, growing, improving, and elevating the Girl's elite program to new high-performance levels on a regular basis
Culture – Serve as a key leader in creating a culture within the staff and coaches that results in the player and team experience we seek for every player in CRYSC.
Delivery of the mission and objectives of the Girl’s Elite program.
Collaborate with the Boys’ Elite Program Director to create consistency, where applicable, across programs.
Manage, design and implement programs to support the overall player development plan, including 11U-12U Rapids Elite, ECNL Teams, WPSL, and Elite Camps
Support and collaborate with Elite Development Squads (EDS) and USYS Elite 64 (E64) Director to ensure a link between these key initiatives and ECNL
Support and assist in the development of documentation for implementation of holistic club philosophy, curriculum, and methodology understanding.
Implement The Clubs coach evaluation process which includes: written assessments, interviews, and feedback, specific recommendations for further development, and follow-up.
Measurements of success for players and coaches in the Elite Program, in particular the implementation of the Individual Player Development Plans.
Guide the player movement and roster selection process throughout the year; through player identification and recruitment internally and externally, EDS, Rapids Training Center and kickarounds.
Lead on the delivery of the Elite Program Pre-Season event.
Be a leader in the planning, delivery, and execution of Elite Rapids Camps (excluding Futsal) throughout the course of the year alongside Elite Boys Director
Support the development of a yearly planning grid that includes in-season and off-season training, games schedules, showcase events, tryouts/kickarounds and any other special programming.
Work with Elite Boys Director, and Elite Futsal Director to coordinate the allocation of facilities and fields in execution of the Girls programs at Regis University
Develop a yearly workflow calendar of communication for parents, coaches and players. In coordination with Elite staff, build out a website that allows for streamlined communication.
Work closely with College Advisory Program Director to assist with the college entrance, recruitment and scholarship process.
Identify, hire, develop, and manage the Girl's Elite Program coaching staff.
Assist in the development and implementation of any education sessions as presented by the CRYSC staff.
Oversee and manage the successful delivery of Rapids Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) program
Working autonomously to an agreed level and in the best interests of the Elite Program Forging positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to benefit the Elite Program
Being visible to all internal and external stakeholders and supporting key staff when liaising with parents at critical moments
Championing all Club and Elite policies by ensuring best practices in areas such as safeguarding, and health and safety throughout the coaching department
Living the values of the Club and championing our culture to help deliver the Elite performance plan and ultimately the vision of the Elite department and the Club
Work closely with Elite Administrators to ensure a smoot and efficient operation of Elite Girls programs
Represent CRYSC at ECNL level events such as board meetings, and symposiums
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
Degree level education in Coaching or related Discipline
A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Elite youth athletes across multiple ages and stages of development.
Specific experience of working within an elite Girls development environment preferable Experience of leading a program with multiple roles and responsibilities
Project Management experience preferable
Management of Full-Time staffing is preferable
USSF A-License or Equivalent Industry Qualification
Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team working to support player development
Understands how a long-term, holistic development program is structured
Understands the function of each facet in a multi-disciplinary team in an Elite department
Experience and understanding of the College Placement Process in the Girls/Women’s game
Possesses a demonstrable knowledge of health and safety policy and best practice

Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club (CRYSC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides one of the nation’s most comprehensive, in-depth approaches to youth soccer- providing opportunities for players three-years-old to professional, from beginner to advanced.
