The primary function is to be a principal administrator for the Athletics Department in University and conference functions including personnel, operations, student-athlete welfare, and budget related activities. This position will serve as the Chief Operating Officer of Athletics. This position will provide supervision to multiple sports programs including assistance related to budget, scheduling and student-athlete welfare. Football & Women’s Basketball will be two of the sports. It will also provide supervision and/or leadership in the area of name-image-likeness, strategic planning, campus/community relations and gender equity. This position will be filled at the Executive or Senior level depending on the experience of the successful candidate. Master’s Degree required
The person in this position should have leadership ability, and a thorough knowledge of intercollegiate athletics.
