The University of Alabama is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the position of Director, IA Compliance. The Director of IA Compliance is responsible for ensuring that University and departmental staff, coaches, student-athletes, and representatives of athletics interest abide by NCAA and Southeastern Conference rules and regulations by coordinating rules education programs, monitoring compliance related issues and recruiting activities, and monitoring other compliance activities pertaining to student-athletes.
The Director, IA Compliance ensures all incoming assigned-Olympic Sports prospective student-athletes are eligible and admitted to the University. Ensures that University departmental staff, coaches, student-athletes and representatives of athletics interest abide by NCAA and SEC rules and regulations pertaining to initial eligibility and admissions. Collects and monitors recruiting data related to all assigned-Olympic Sports recruiting activities.

Minimum requirements include: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four (4) years experience within an Intercollegiate Athletics Compliance program; or Master's degree and a minimum of two (2) years experience within an Intercollegiate Athletics Compliance program; or Juris Doctor and a minimum of one (1) year experience within an Intercollegiate Athletics Compliance program. Knowledge of NCAA and SEC regulations.
