The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for an Assistant Director of Creative Video. This position is responsible for producing relevant, revenue generating content primarily for the Florida Soccer and Softball programs through collaboration with the Marketing, Communications, and Social Media staff. Responsibilities include supporting Florida Gators athletic teams, and creating content (including feature stories, highlight videos, promotional videos, video board content, and social media creative content).
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Telecommunications, or Broadcasting • Two years of related experience • Valid driver’s license • Creative, motivated, hard-working individual • Ability to shoot with a variety of cameras and edit with non-linear software (including Adobe Production Suite) • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team • Ability to exercise sound judgement • Ability to create innovative and engaging content • Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds • Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, holidays and extensive overnight travel
