Job Description:
The Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University is now accepting applications for a Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor to teach part-time at the undergraduate level within the Marketing Department. Primary courses to be taught include, but are not limited to: Principles of Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing. Additional responsibilities include: participating in department service activities including advising undergraduate students.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver course materials through a number of delivery modes (online, hybrid, in-person). The position will start in Fall 2023.
The current teaching assignment is to teach one or two courses for the next two semesters. Future semester requirements may be for up to four courses per semester for up to three years, with the possibility of renewal.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Mastersâ degree in in Business or a related field - Must meet the collegeâs faculty qualification standards for AACSB Accreditation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching university level marketing or related courses - Related work experience in the field of marketing of 3 years or more
