The University of South Alabama, a NCAA Division I institution, charter member of the Sun Belt Conference and located on the Gulf Coast in Mobile, Alabama, is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Athletic Academic Counselor/Learning Specialist. The Assistant Athletic Academic Counselor/Learning Specialist will be a critical member within the office of Student-Athlete Academic Services. The position will work in collaboration with Athletic Counselors, tutoring staff, and the student-athletes. This is a twelve-month internship position. The position will be responsible for: •Assisting in the day-to-day operation in the Office of Student-Athlete Academic Services. •Provides academic advising and counseling to student-athletes in various academic majors in
