The University of Arkansas - Little Rock is looking to fill the position of Graduate Assistant for Athletic Facilities and Game Operations and the position will be responsible for directly assisting the Director of Facilities and Game Operations and the Assistant Director of Facilities and Game Operations with the management of game day and athletics facilities operations. Duties include, but are not limited to; Serve as game manager to specific sports and facility responsibilities, contacting and organizing game day staff, hosting visiting teams and officials, assisting in set-up and tear down of events, assisting with special events and external events scheduled in athletics facilities, assist with the maintenance and upkeep of athletic facilities, and other duties as assigned. Position will also be involved with learning and upkeep of inventory and point of sale system for concessions/team store merchandise.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
Ability to work nights and weekends
Ability to lift and move athletics equipment up to 50 pounds
Enrollment and/or acceptance in a University of Arkansas - Little Rock graduate program for fall term, 2023
Desire to pursue a career in athletics
Ability to effectively communicate through oral, written, and electronic forms
Ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions
Possess the intellect, insights, influence, and managerial skills to operate and oversee the events and facilities division of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Ability to work independently and as a team member to complete assigned tasks and meeting deadlines
