Young Harris College is seeking candidates for the position of Director of Golf to be responsible for the direction of the NCAA D-II Men’s and Women's Golf Programs at Young Harris College. This individual will perform a variety of functions including, but not limited to, the following: recruitment, coaching, budget management, purchasing equipment and uniforms, scheduling games and practices, public relations and fundraising. This individual is fully responsible for the academic achievement, retention, and graduation of each student-athlete on involved in the program. This individual will be able to organize, supervise, coordinate and employ sound coaching techniques and practices. This individual will have a thorough knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, Conference Carolinas and Young Harris College rules, polices & procedures.

A Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred; Two or more years of collegiate coaching and/or playing experience, collegiate recruiting experience, effective communication (verbal and written), proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office.
