Job Summary
The Academic Success Assistant will be supervised by a Learning Enhancement Program staff member with the primary responsibility of meeting with an assigned caseload of student-athletes to develop and improve academic skills and contribute to the development and maintenance of objective-based study hall plans. Additional duties related to the role include, but are not limited to:
Essential Functions
Assist student-athletes in setting and tracking manageable weekly objectives
Monitor and document weekly progress of his/her assigned caseload
Collaborate with other Academic Success staff in strategy and management of student-athlete academic support and objective-based study hall plans
Complete end of term assessments regarding academic progress of students in objective-based study hall
Create and facilitate tutoring and Student Learning Assistant workshops
Contribute to other services such as Tutoring, Learning Enhancement Program, and Student-Athlete Development based on individual interest and unit needs
Adhere to NCAA, University, and educational regulations
