Intercollegiate Athletics is offering a graduate assistantship beginning Fall 2023, to a person holding a bachelor’s degree who wishes to professionalize her/his coaching experience. The successful applicant will work with the Head Coach in all aspects of the Women’s Basketball team; assist in all practice sessions and competitive events; assist in the pre-season and in-season conditioning programs; assist with day-to-day operations of the program, including player development, recruiting, travel arrangement, and helping to coordinate with admissions to establish eligibility. The applicant must make a strong commitment to and have a responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of Ball State University, the Mid-American Conference and the NCAA.
The successful applicant must be admitted to the Graduate School and is expected to apply to a master’s program. In addition, the successful applicant must have coaching experience or competitive experience at the collegiate level.
Tuition remission and a yearly stipend will be provided.
