The Director of Creative Content reports to the Associate Athletic Director of Communication. This position leads the department’s creative content efforts in the areas of strategic communications, revenue generation, fan engagement, marketing and branding initiatives, and perspective student-athlete recruitment.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in graphic design, broadcasting, journalism, marketing, communications, or related field. Proficient experience utilizing the full Adobe Creative Suite; specifically Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe After Effects. Experience with social media platforms. Experience in graphic design. Experience in animation/motion graphic design. Knowledge of current social and digital media trends and specifications. Ability to interpret and utilize brand standards. Excellent editing skills. Excellent interpersonal verbal communication skills. Highly organized and driven. Self-motivated. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Associated Press style. Experience creating and implementing communications plans. Experience managing Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat accounts.
