Under the direction of the Associate Athletic Director for Academic Services and the Director of Academics, the Academic Counselor will monitor academic progress of student-athletes in compliance with NCAA, Southeastern Conference and the University of Arkansas rules and regulations. This position will work with coaches, staff and professors to foster an atmosphere that retains student-athletes and culminates in graduation from the University while supervising a graduate assistant. Duties will include advising student-athletes, coordinating graduation plans, monitoring continuing eligibility including APR, and assisting with on campus recruiting. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious
