Director of Athletic Communications
In concert with the Athletic Director, directs and provides media information for seventeen (17) intercollegiate sports, and implements appropriate actions and strategies within areas of responsibility. Adheres to NCAA Division II, Mountain East Conference, and Fairmont State University rules and regulations for its 17 sport programs as it relates to all aspects of sports information. Seeks professional relationships with media that will benefit the visibility and reputation of the athletic program. Works with coaches and others to identify, prioritize, establish and accomplish athletic communications objectives. Creates, edits, plans and manages all content on FightingFalcons.com. Oversee a part-time staff that includes a photographer, videographer, work study, student, and volunteer
