The Director of Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Operations serves as an assistant to the Head Women’s Track and Field/Cross Country Coach, assisting with the overall administration of the women’s track and field/cross country programs. They will be responsible for coordinating all day-to-day operations for the Women's Track & Field/Cross Country program, to include on-campus recruitment efforts, expense reports, communicating with student-athletes, coordinating team travel and logistics, practice calendars, academics, compliance issues, certifications, scholarships, etc. This position will also be involved in assisting with the management of home track & field/cross country competitions
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job function of this job, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
At least three years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education, competitive participation, training, and work experience
Prior working experience as a Director of Operations at the collegiate level
At least one year of experience with Track & Field/Cross Country either as a collegiate, professional or club athlete, coach, or administrator
Experience in small event management
Working knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office, to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of NCAA, SEC, and University policies and procedures
Ability to demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
