What Territory Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Direct Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and/or existing customers through face-to-face or telephone contact to meet individual and organizational sales objectives.
Territory Management is responsible for cold calling, prospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a specified product line, business segment and/or geography. Focus areas will include driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts.
Job Summary
The Consultant, Territory Management has full responsibility for account management and new business development of the radio pharmacy and nuclear portfolio including pharmaceutical and IT services offerings. This job works to maximize profitable sales opportunities by understanding the complexities of their respective channel(s) of business as well as the unique needs of key customers. The Consultant, Territory Management educates customers on Cardinal Health products and provides client and team support and training, and manages special projects as needed. This job leads the management of the client relationship and associated strategies related to retention, contract management, revenue growth, profitability, expansion and overall account performance.
Responsibilities
Develops a comprehensive growth strategy for assigned territory of business that is aligned with customer's objectives, financial position and employee benefit strategy while providing cross-sell opportunities and profitable revenue and growth to Cardinal Health.
Grows and manages a balanced pipeline across an assigned territory to achieve new business revenue objectives growth.
Provides Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback to internal Cardinal Health functions.
Partners with other functional areas and operational teams, to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of products to clients.
Effectively builds a year-over-year track record of consistent performance and accountability using multiple sales approaches and managing complex sales contracts.
Qualifications
4-8 years of experience
BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field. Advance Degree preferred

Anticipated salary range: $67,800-$96,900 (+Incentive Plan Eligibility)
