Agency Securities Lending (ASL) is a portfolio management tool that institutional clients can use to generate an attractive risk-adjusted portfolio return on their fixed income and equity portfolios as well as cash positions .
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced trader to join the ASL trading team in London. With an expanding client base and dynamic management driving the business forward, this is a perfect role for someone to continue to assist with that momentum.
You will predominantly trade the Fixed Income book but with a global perspective, utilizing Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) trading hours to maximize opportunities. A key focal point will be the lending of ASL clients European Fixed income government and corporate bonds and the associated cash reinvestment requirements, with the primary responsibility of trading with our London counterparties.
You will demonstrate existing experience of Equity lending, with scope to assist on that aspect of the book. You will also be expected to work on various short-term projects for the trading desk and the wider associated group, such as client presentations, prospective client estimates, business analysis or counterparty communications.
