General Information: Graduate Assistantships posted here will begin Fall 2024 (August 1 or August 16) NIU Athletic Graduate Assistantships include a tuition waiver, applicable toward instructional tuition charges (excludes student fees, institutional charges, program differentials, books, etc.), and a bi-monthly paycheck (current starting wage is $21.30/hour for Graduate Staff Assistants; or $852/semi-monthly for Graduate Teaching Assistants). Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required based on job requirements. Graduate Assistant positions require a bachelor’s degree and are contingent upon admittance into the NIU Graduate School. Positions within NIU Athletics department are designated as security sensitive and will require a pre-employment background in
