The Assistant Director of Compliance serves as a member of the compliance team that is committed to excellence and advancing the vision of the Department of Athletics through its strategic plan. This position supports the compliance staff liaison to the Student-Athlete Support Services Office (SASSO), college advisors, and the Registrar’s Office. This position works closely with SASSO and the Registrar’s Office regarding NCAA and Big Ten Conference progress towards degree and initial eligibility requirements. Additionally, the position supports the compliance monitoring team and works closely with the coaches, support staff, and student-athletes to ensure adherence to recruiting and extra benefit legislation.
