The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for an Events Center Technician 2 (Facilities Operations Tech) for Nevada Athletics. The main purpose of the position is to assist the Director of Facilities in the day-to-day operations of University of Nevada Athletics. The position performs skilled technical work in the setup and removal of a variety of complex staging devices used to host events at a major events arena to include set up basketball floor, back board units, scoreboards, retractable bleachers, manual and computer-based lighting systems, sound and audiovisual equipment including television monitors and satellite communication system, and flexible stages for a variety of events.
