The University of Oregon is currently accepting applications for the position of a full-time Athletic Communications Assistant for the 2024-25 academic year. The position is a 12-month appointment starting in July 2024 and running through June 30, 2025. The communications assistant will report directly to the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications. The application deadline is April 15, but the position will be filled as soon as possible. Responsibilities include direct involvement with all 20 intercollegiate programs while serving as the primary media contact for women’s lacrosse, men’s golf and acrobatics and tumbling, in addition to social media publicity efforts, creating and developing online content, writing news releases and feature stories, maintaining online record bo
