The Director of Sports Medicine will oversee sports medicine services provided to Georgia Tech student-athletes who compete in their assigned division of sports. This position supervises athletic training services and the Sports Medicine administrative operations for all sport programs within their division, including staff athletic trainers assigned to their specific sport program. Duties include prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of student-athlete injuries and illnesses. This role requires a high level of competence in sports medicine administration, clinical evaluation, treatment and teaching along with a commitment to maintaining an integrated, interdisciplinary health care model.
