Assumes responsibility for the oversight of the athletic communications and serves as lead media relations contact. Serves as a member of the department’s senior leadership team. Independently plans, develops, and implements a comprehensive athletic communication program to help strategically shape and execute the vision for the University of Hartford Athletics and Recreation. Manages the University of Hartford Athletics website and all athletic publications. Directs programs that encourage and support the development of Hartford’s fan base and alumni as well as providing competitive platforms for teams and individuals competing in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. Assumes responsibility for ensuring compliance with all federal, state, NCAA, conference, and University regulations.
