We're on the lookout for a Vice President, to spearhead our Digital client partnership efforts. Reporting directly to the head of Digital Wealth/Intermediary, Europe, you'll play a pivotal role in cultivating key relationships with digital distributors, positioning SSGA as their preferred commercial and strategic partner.
Key Responsibilities:
Curate a watchlist of potential partnership prospects, ensuring a proactive approach to expanding our network.
Elevate our client-facing materials on digital trends shaping the industry, ensuring we remain ahead of the curve.
Develop and negotiate terms/scope of new commercial partnerships, crafting agreements that align with both SSGA and client interests.
Manage the pipeline of existing partnerships, adeptly negotiating renewals as required to maintain momentum.
Establish partnership 'best practices' to optimize relationship outcomes, drawing insights from past engagements.
Collaborate with our Partnership Center of Excellence to review and enhance existing partnerships.
Develop and refine reporting functions to track commercial results, identify challenges/opportunities, and prioritize upcoming initiatives.
Explore opportunities for product co-creation with partners, ensuring our ETF offering meets the needs of retail clients.
Drive strategic projects related to Digital Wealth expansion and support ad-hoc requests from the Client Coverage Group and Wealth, Europe leadership.
Experience And Skills:
Bring 5-7 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of Asset Management. Knowledge of the ETF landscape and strategy/management consultancy experience are advantageous.
Possess a deep understanding of the digital distribution landscape, including D2C platforms, (neo-)brokers, and incumbent banks.
Demonstrate a track record of engaging clients and driving commercial outcomes, with exceptional presentation and communication skills.
Thrive in a collaborative environment, adept at managing stakeholders of all levels.
Hold a first-class undergraduate degree from a top-tier university; graduate degree and/or professional finance qualifications are highly desirable.
Excel in time management and prioritization, delivering proposals with speed and efficiency.
Possess strong conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills, with a knack for translating complex ideas into actionable insights.
Exhibit creativity, intellectual curiosity, and a strong ownership mindset, with a drive to deliver impactful results.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, capable of producing high-quality presentations with compelling narratives.
