An example of job responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following:

•Staffing and supervision of event staff team members and student workers, assisting visiting teams and officials, producing and updating various sport operations manuals, assist in the setup, breakdown and game operations for all home contests and some facility rentals, communications with various units within the department as well as external groups and general office duties. Specific sport responsibilities will be assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Event Operations.

•Organize, direct, coordinate, evaluate and schedule part-time workers for athletics events

•Update and maintain event profiles, manuals and/or information packets

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• Experience working at an NCAA Division I athletic department in event and game day management 
• Excellent time management, oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proven strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong customer service, leadership and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of Event Management related experience working with an intercollegiate athletics department 
• General knowledge of NCAA competition guidelines related to game management
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator

Other Requirements:

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
• Must possess a valid driver’s license at all times
