What We Are Looking For The Director of Ticket Operations is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the ticket office operations, ticket sales and customer service at athletic events, pre- and postseason competitions, and special events.
A Bachelor's Degree and two years relevant experience is required. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who works efficiently, has the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, possesses strong organizational and communication skills, and works well with others in a stressful work environment. You must be able to contribute to a positive team environment. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United State on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Manage various ticket operations including planning, communication, and sales processing for various athletic events and all special events. Travel to away events as necessary.
- Perform and encourage staff to maintain high level customer service including customer relations and conflict resolution.
- Maintain communication with administration relative to ticket sales, orders, revenue, promotions, etc.
- Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to al NCAA, Big 12 Conference, and institution rules and regulations and to communicate immediately any possible infractions of such rules and regulations to the Athletics Compliance staff.
- Other program duties as requested by the Director of Athletics or the area head.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
- Ability to comply with University policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
