Under the general direction of the Director of Student-Athlete Development, each fellow will be expected to help support and/or manage various Badger Built initiatives including programs, systems, processes, and events. This 11-month paid opportunity enables participants to contribute significantly to the success of Wisconsin Athletics while integrating real-world experience. Fellows will play a pivotal role in shaping the student-athlete experience, encompassing peak performance, exploration, and community. Responsibilities include active involvement in committees, execution of large-scale initiatives, and independent projects designed to prepare student-athletes to win now & beyond.

Opportunities also exist for cross-collaboration and exposure to various departments within athletics. Working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders, the fellow will make a significant impact on student-athletes, the department, and the organization as a whole. These individuals will also participate in the Emerging Leaders Program to gain hands-on experience, build their network, explore career options, and develop essential professional skills.
