Nature & Purpose of Position Plans, organizes, and directs the day-to-day team operations for the Department of Athletics with the oversight of the Director. Performs highly complex managerial work providing direction and guidance in strategic operations and planning in Sports Operations. Primary Responsibilities Oversees and directs the daily activities of dedicated sports operations personnel for each sports program on campus. Guides a team of sports operation personnel for each of the athletic programs, including coaches, athletic trainers, and support staff.
