Position Purpose
The Graduate Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach will work directly with the Men’s Soccer Programs and assist the Head Coach with all facets of the day-to-day operations of the Men’s Soccer Program, in compliance with Hiram College, PAC, and NCAA policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist head coach in practice and competition planning and implementation
- Assist in all facets of recruiting and retention of student-athletes to the Men’s Soccer program
- Assist with all funding raising initiatives for the Hiram College Men’s Soccer program
- Do athletic laundry in sport season
- Other duties as assigned, to possibly include, but not be limited to other sport event management during the off-season
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of the game of men’s and women’s soccer
- Ability to teach skills and strategy of men’s soccer
- Applicant must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented office environment and interact in a positive manner with students, faculty, staff, visitors, and the public.

- Experience with Front Rush
- Proficient with all forms of social media
Experience
- Previous college playing and or coaching experience preferred
- Experience recruiting college athletes preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Acceptance into the Hiram College MAIS Graduate Program or Sports Management Graduate program required for consideration
