Global Sickle Cell Disease Programs Specialist
The American Society of Hematology (ASH), a prestigious medical society located in downtown Washington, DC, seeks an experienced Global Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) Programs Specialist to provide principal project and administrative support to the African Newborn Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) Screening and early Intervention Consortium, convened by ASH.  The position supports the relationships between ASH, the member of the Consortium, and associated stakeholders.  The Specialist identifies short- and long-term opportunities for ASH throughout Africa by building relationships with key hematology organizations and government officials and monitoring the news.  On a global level, the Specialist helps establish and broaden exposure of ASH’s SCD initiatives.
