Assistant Sports Performance Coach
University of Wyoming, a Division I member of the NCAA and the Mountain West Conference is seeking an Assistant Sports Performance Coach. This position will work with assigned Olympic Sports and be under the supervision of the Director of Sports Performance for Olympic Sports. The duties of the position include, but are not limited to, developing and implementing a comprehensive strength and conditioning program for assigned sports. Each program should be scientifically based, using the latest research information related to the sport and performance enhancement field. Emphasis in programming should be placed on a year-long progressive plan that enhances the athlete’s competitive athletic ability while addressing the need to reduce the likelihood of injury.
