The Sports Communication Graduate Assistant at Upper Iowa University reports directly to the Associate Athletics Director for Communications and is responsible for assisting the associate athletics director in the planning and execution of all aspects and facets of a successful sports communication office at the NCAA Division II level. The Upper Iowa Sports Communication Office covers all 20 NCAA Division II sport programs, as well as the Athletic Training Program, Strength and Conditioning and UIU’s varsity teams (i.e. Spirit, Men’s Bowling) through UIUPeacocks.com, social media, text messaging, newsletters, statistics, graphics, video, photographs, as well as live and taped broadcasts.
