Manager Psychology Services - Athletics
The Director of Student-Athlete Mental Health and Performance will be embedded in Athletics (ICAA) and support the holistic development of Wichita State student-athletes. The position will provide treatment that includes initial consultations, brief individual therapy, group therapy, workshops, and crisis assessment and intervention to a diverse student-athlete population. Assesses the unique mental health needs of student-athletes and develops appropriate services to address these specific mental health needs. Builds effective, collaborative relationships throughout the Department of Athletics. Provides prevention and education programming and consultation to coaches, administrators, and students. Serves as a liaison between campus CAPS (Counseling and Prevention Services) and Athletics.
