Assistant Director of Sports Performance
The Assistant Director of Sports Performance is responsible for helping direct and develop a high level of sports performance services for UNCW student-athletes participating in 19 Division I athletic programs. This position reports directly to the Director of Sports Performance. This position will have oversight of the development of sport-specific strength training and conditioning programs that are scientifically based and involve periodic/cycled regimens of exercises and drills to optimize strength, power, flexibility, mobility, agility, speed, and/or work capacity designed to enhance sports performance and decrease the incidence of non-contact injuries.
