The Assistant AD for Facilities/Operations manages the day-to-day operations of athletic facilities including maintenance, rentals and scheduling as well as athletic grounds and event operations. Will also include sport supervisor responsibilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Manages events and home athletic contests with 500-10,000 people in attendance on a regular basis. Works with Hulman Center, facilities and grounds staff on campus. Directs tournaments/championships. -Maintains athletic facilities and grounds. Provides for fan and student-athlete safety. -Supervises and designates work for Facilities/Operations Assistant Manager and Equipment Managers. Sports supervision and travel responsibilities. -Maintains schedule for athletic facilities, managing athletic department teams as well as outside entities. -Manages athletics construction projects. Works with outside vendors/suppliers.
