Scarlet Assets Management Company LLC, or SAMCO, LLC is a business organized to assist Rutgers University in maximizing revenue generation derived from licensing Rutgers' University’s rights and other assets. This includes revenue derived through season tickets, premium ticket sales, groups and individual ticket sales to Athletic and Non-Athletics sponsored events; the sale and client servicing of Multi-Media advertising sponsorships through Rutgers University properties and assets; the sale and client servicing of Naming Rights sponsorships of Rutgers University venues; and any incremental revenue opportunities that utilize Rutgers University assets.
The Director of Project Management has a pivotal role responsible for overseeing various Project Management aimed at enhancing the overall performance, reputation, and efficiency of SAMCO. This individual will collaborate closely with both internal senior leadership, coaches, staff, and external stakeholders to execute projects that align with the department's goals and priorities.
Project Management
· Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of Project Management within SAMCO as it pertains to current and future initiatives.
· Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
· Coordinate yearly touchpoints for all current, future, and renewal clients by organizing calendars, monthly touch points, special initiatives, and track progress to meet established milestones and objectives in maintaining and growing our business.
Event Management
· Plan and oversee the execution of major client events, including sponsor hospitality programs, On Campus VIP experiences in and out of season, and corporate entertainment initiatives.
· Coordinate logistics, vendor relationships, and participant communications to ensure seamless event delivery.
· Evaluate event outcomes and implement improvements for future iterations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Collaborate with various departments within the university, including finance, marketing, facilities, and academic affairs, to support interdisciplinary projects.
· Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, coaches, athletes, and external partners to facilitate project success.
· Serve as a liaison between SAMCO and other university units to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts.
Creative Assistance
· May be asked to take lead in design efforts for a broad range of marketing projects across all divisions including sales collateral, educational material, branding and advertising material, internal and external communications, email templates, print and online ads, websites and landing pages, social media, video content, event design and production, sales presentation development, and graphic development.
Leadership Support
· Manage the agendas, schedules, and communications for senior leadership and other key stakeholders to keep SAMCO on task.
· Coordinate meetings, prepare briefing materials, and follow up on action items to ensure alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
Research
· Review and maintain puritan university and public information that is deemed important by senior leadership to be sure all of our information being presented to sponsors is up to date and accurate. Examples include but not limited to demographics make up of fans, alumni numbers and locations, student athlete cumulative gpa and more

Bachelor's degree in business administration, sports management, marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in project management, preferably in a sponsorship or marketing environment.
Strong understanding of strategic planning, sponsorship sales, and partnership activation.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
