The Office of Marketing & Communications consists of brand, communications, and creative teams that develop integrated marketing strategies across an array of media including print, web, direct marketing channels, advertising, social media, and public relations to reach the school's key stakeholders
Purpose
Reporting to the Director of Marketing Intelligence, as the Email Marketing Coordinator you will contribute directly to the school's mission by communicating with prospective students and other stakeholders about our academic degree programs and other activities. You will oversee the daily, hands-on development of email marketing campaigns, and related CRM platform management tasks to support the School's recruiting and marketing goals. Additionally, your work will be seen by tens of thousands of candidates and alumni every year, making a meaningful contribution to their interactions with the school.
You Will:
Email Communications Execution
- Coordinate and maintain the monthly email marketing schedule by working with the Marketing & Communications team, including monitoring of the schedule to guarantee a thoughtful email production and proofing process, and deployment.
- Help develop email marketing campaigns and activities, including building and creation of email campaigns, coordination of creative assets, the proofing and QA process, and final deployment of campaigns.
- Support the creation and management of email campaign audience segments within the email marketing database.
- Support strategic planning for overall email campaigns to enhance program marketing.
- Assure automated campaigns complete according to their defined strategies/parameters.
- Use HTML and CSS for email to develop assets where required.
- Other tasks as assigned
Reporting & Optimization
- Work with the Marketing & Communications team to monitor email marketing performance and provide monthly analysis of email campaigns. Provide recommendations for enhancing effectiveness.
- Monitor sender reputation by overseeing inbox delivery, unsubscribe/SPAM rates, and other deliverability metrics.
- Work with the CRM Specialist to develop testing and optimization plans for improving email marketing indicators and user engagement and conversion.
- Work with the CRM Specialist to determine email marketing's role in content marketing and lead generation strategy.
CRM Platform Management
- Help manage email lists, data extensions, and data integration between our email service provider (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and our CRM platform (Salesforce).
- Help export audience lists within the CRM platform.
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing role, including email production
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, Google Suite, and experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, MailChimp, Constant Contact)
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop

Salary Information:
