Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Athletic Administration, Sports Management or related field.

• Five years of progressively responsible experience within an inter-collegiate institution, athletic conference, or a combination of five years of athletic administration and executive-level business administration experience.

• Demonstrated commitment or proven strategies for fostering a diverse and inclusive environment; demonstrated ability or proven strategies to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds.

• Must demonstrate the ability to lead and manage a complex organization that serves multiple constituencies. 

• Evidence of skills in fiscal planning, budget management, and personnel management.

• Ability to communicate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Division II Athletics.

• Administrator experience.

• Experience working in a collective bargaining environment.      

• Knowledge of NCAA Rules and Regulations.

• Proven success in fundraising and donor relations.
