Coordinator of Player Personnel

Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher). One (1) year of full-time college-level administrative or coaching experience in the sport of football (student experience may be considered).

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Understanding of NCAA Compliance Rules (played a Division I, II, or III sport, coached in collegiate athletics, or as a staff member in a collegiate athletic program). Previous experience with a Division I Athletic Program.

Brief Descriptions of Duties:
The Coordinator of Player Personnel is responsible for helping with a variety of administrative tasks and player relations associated with the efficient operation of a Division I football program. This position will report directly to the Head Football Coach and will be the primary liaison with various athletic department staff members. They will be responsible for assisting in coordinating the administrative side of the recruiting process, including database management and film evaluations. They will also assist with current player personnel matters, NCAA Compliance and Official Visit planning. The incumbent will serve as a contact for various Athletic Department support areas and professional scouting personnel.

Current Player Personnel

• The incumbent will be responsible for working closely with the current players in regards to their athletic and academic obligations, financial obligations, assisting with professional development for life after college, identifying and coordinating team community service efforts and other daily tasks in which the student-athletes encounter on a regular basis.

Recruiting Administration

• This position will assist in the administrative side of the recruitment process. This will involve helping with the Recruiting software programs and subscriptions. This will require the incumbent to help identify, evaluate, collect data, and collect video on prospects to provide direction to the Coaching Staff through available and permissible sources. They will also help monitor permissible recruiting websites at the direction of the coaching staff to provide updates on committed prospects.

Admissions and Financial Aid Liaison

• This position is responsible for working with the Admissions liaison to help monitor prospective student-athletes and the new student acceptance process, and assist all student-athletes with the application process. The Assistant will also work with the Financial Aid Office to initiate grant-in-aid requests for prospective student-athletes and monitor the current student-athlete grants-in-aid as well as their student accounts.

Compliance

• In conjunction with the Compliance Office and in accordance with NCAA regulations, the Assistant will be responsible for helping with official/unofficial visits, with duties such as student-athlete complimentary ticket requests and coordinating on-campus visits.

Professional Liaison

• The Assistant will help arrange campus visits with the National Football League personnel and scouts, send game films to all NFL teams through NFL club exchange dub-center and coordinate junior and senior Pro-days.

Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.

Special Notes:
This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Non Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.

In addition to the employee's base salary, this position is eligible for $4,000 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
