								<description>Durango , Colorado,  Position Summary
Fort Lewis College Athletics seeks a motivated and detail-oriented individual for a two-year graduate assistantship. This position supports athletic facilities, event operations, and game day execution within an NCAA Division II environment. The role reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Gameday Operations &#38; Facilities and contributes to a positive experience for student-athletes, staff, and the campus community.
Primary Responsibilities
&#8226;Support daily operations of athletic facilities and execution of home athletic events
&#8226;Coordinate setup and breakdown for competitions and special events
&#8226;Assist with facility scheduling and communication with coaches and campus partners
&#8226;Recruit, train, and supervise student event staff
&#8226;Monitor facility conditions and coordinate maintenance and work orders
&#8226;Manage equipment setup, inventory, and storage
&#8226;Ensure facilities meet NCAA and conference standards
&#8226;Produce live broadcasts and operate broadcasting equipment for home events
&#8226;Serve as point of contact for replay hardware/software and oversee broadcast student staff

 Bachelor&#8217;s degree and acceptance into a Fort Lewis College graduate program 
 Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills 
 Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules 
 
 Preferred Qualifications 
 
 Experience in athletics facilities, event operations, or game management 
 Experience supervising student staff 
 Familiarity with live event operations and broadcasting 
 Technical experience: Production Truck, Adobe Premiere</description>
