The Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory (CNLM) is the first research institute in the world dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of the fundamental brain mechanisms of learning and memory. Led by Director Michael Yassa, the CNLM is home to more than 120 faculty scientists at UCI and beyond. Your Role on the Team The Center for the Neurobiology of Learning and Memory (CNLM) is an Organized Research Unit (ORU) seeking an entry-level Marketing Specialist to support communications, outreach, and donor engagement efforts. The role assists with developing marketing materials, managing digital and social media platforms, updating website content, tracking engagement metrics, and supporting fundraising initiatives.  This position also contributes to event planning and on-site support, maintains marketing records and mailing lists, and assists with payment processing for marketing services. Working collaboratively across CNLM programs, the Marketing Specialist helps enhance visibility and support the center&#39;s research mission through effective communication and outreach. What It Takes to be Successful Required: Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects. Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Basic knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, techniques and practices. Basic knowledge of the campus and / or medical center, including its vision, mission, goals, objectives, achievements and infrastructure. Good graphic design skills. Attention to detail and ability to follow established policies, procedures, and brand guidelines.
