Essential Elements
• Collaborate with the Executive Athletic Director and key stakeholders to advance the goals of King’s College’s strategic plan, Demonstrate Excellence in Division III NCAA Athletic Competition and Student-Athlete Achievement with a focus on: a. Accelerating competitive excellence; driven by performance analytics, coaching support and resource alignment. b. Driving student athlete satisfaction through strategic programming, personalized support initiatives, continuous feedback loops that inform meaningful enhancements to the student athlete experience. c. Advancing student athlete success by implementing targeted strategies focusing on academic support, mentorship, wellness initiatives and team engagement.
• Lead administrator for all aspects of game day operations for regular and post-season athletic events, ensuring seamless execution and a high-quality experience for participants and spectators. Oversee the accurate documentation and compliance of athletics schedules, contest contracts, and official assignments in strict alignment with College, MAC, and NCAA regulations.
• Demonstrate visible support for student-athletes and coaches by maintaining a consistent presence at games and competitions, fostering a culture of encouragement, accountability, and community engagement.
• Partner with the Executive Athletic Director to monitor and manage all athletic operating budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and strategic resource allocation.
• Contribute to the development of accurate, data-informed budget projections that align with departmental goals and institutional priorities.
• Oversee all aspects of team transportation logistics. Manage officials’ contracts and payments using RefQuest Pay and Perfect Records, ensuring timely reconciliation and compliance with institutional procedures.
• Provide oversight of ticket operations for the varsity programs, specifically football, men’s and women’s basketball and conference championships.
• Assist with the completion of NCAA reports such as the annual EADA (financial), Demographic and Sport Sponsorships and NCAA Graduation reports.
• Work collaboratively with campus partners in Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, and Institutional Advancement with a willingness to represent athletics on various committees and special projects.
• Coordinate break housing and meal arrangements in collaboration with Residence Life and Dining Services, ensuring efficient and student-centered logistical support.
• Collaborate with the Compliance Coordinator to educate and certify over 600 student-athletes annually, ensuring full adherence to NCAA, MAC, and College regulations through proactive communication, training, and documentation.
• Lead coordination of staff and ensure timely communication of student-athlete class and contest conflicts to faculty and academic support services. Oversee game day notifications to visiting teams, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and professional experience aligned with institutional standards.
1. Previous experience working within intercollegiate athletics environment preferred.

4. Ability to make sound decisions and direct others within the department.
5. Effective oral communication skills.
6. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
7. Basic understanding of NCAA Compliance and Regulations.
