Hiram College invites applications for the position of Men’s Soccer Graduate Assistant. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the recruitment, retention, and day-to-day operations of the Hiram College Men’s Soccer program. Hiram College is a member of the Presidents Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III.
Position Purpose
The Graduate Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach will work directly with the Men’s Soccer Programs and assist the Head Coach with all facets of the day-to-day operations of the Men’s Soccer Program, in compliance with Hiram College, PAC, and NCAA policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Assist head coach in practice and competition planning and implementation
Assist in all facets of recruiting and retention of student-athletes to the Men’s Soccer program
Assist with all funding raising initiatives for the Hiram College Men’s Soccer program
Do athletic laundry in sport season
Other duties as assigned, to possibly include, but not be limited to other sport event management during the off-season
Skills & Knowledge
Strong working knowledge of the game of men’s and women’s soccer
Ability to teach skills and strategy of men’s soccer
Applicant must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented office environment and interact in a positive manner with students, faculty, staff, visitors, and the public.

Previous college playing and or coaching experience preferred
Experience recruiting college athletes preferred
Education
Bachelor’s Degree required
Acceptance into the Hiram College MAIS Graduate Program or Sports Management Graduate program required for consideration
