Salary Details:
$1,100 monthly stipend (paid bi-weekly), plus the opportunity to earn additional hourly wage during summer and break periods as mutually agreed upon with supervisor.
Graduate assistant will receive full tuition waiver for up to 9 credit hours per semester (Fall/Spring), plus opportunity to apply for additional tuition waiver for summer term.

Southeast Missouri State University, a NCAA Division I institution is seeking applications for a graduate assistant to provide support to the Department of Athletics marketing & fan engagement efforts, while gaining valuable intercollegiate athletics marketing, game operations, and revenue generation experience.
SEMO is the winner of the OVC Commissioner's Cup in three of the past five school years, and has won more conference championships than any other school in the OVC since 2019. Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Brady Barke was named NACDA Athletic Director of the Year in 2022. The marketing & external team was recognized as a finalist for Group II Marketing Team of the Year by NACMA in 2025.
The University has a total enrollment of nearly 10,000 students in Cape Girardeau, MO, situated near the bank of the Mississippi River in a community of over 80,000 in Cape Girardeau County. Cape Girardeau is located on Interstate 55, approximately two hours south of St. Louis, and three hours north of Memphis.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist the Director of Tickets and Annual Fund in the day-to-day operations of the ticket office, including inbound phone calls, answering emails, and overseeing ticket office training
Develop comprehensive knowledge of Paciolan and FEVO, with the ability to independently build events, create promo codes and other ticket offerings, manage inventory, and generate reports
Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and strategic communication to create and promote promotional offerings, single game tickets, season ticket packages, mini plans, etc.
Assist with gameday operations by training and supervising event staff, equipment testing, and setup.
Generate and reconcile financial reports for the University Foundation to ensure proper allocation and deposit of donations.
Evening and weekend hours are required as needed. Responsible for working each home football event
Provide excellent customer service to every fan, donor, student, alumnus, and member of the SEMO community.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or related field (Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, etc.)
Acceptance into a SEMO graduate program
Satisfy the minimum load specifications of the individual departments and be making satisfactory progress toward the degree
Preferred Experience and Strengths:
Prior knowledge of Paciolan ticket software
Experience working in intercollegiate athletics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
